1- Why tour in Cappadocia?
Because Cappadocia is very large area. From one place to another there are 10 – 15 and 20 kilometers distance and there is no much public transportations. Even with tour, one day is not enough. First day we see north part of Cappadocia at the second day we see the places in south part of Cappadocia. We use private minibus with maximum 15 people. With certificated guide. All transfers, museum tickets, guiding services and lunch (not drinks when you have lunch) are included.
2- Maybe I can make cheaper this trip if I do it on my own…
Not really. To see Cappadocia properly with your own way, you have to spend at least 4 days. So to stay in hotel at least three night, your lunch, dinner will cost you more expensive than what you imagine.
3- Is there shopping in your tours?
Not really. Only the place that we take you to the pottery workshop in Avanos area of Cappadocia. Because Avanos, is a one of the first place they have start to make pottery in the history. We have a demonstration how to make pottery. Since it is they have a shopping section, in their show rooms there are examples with their price tags on it. Without any obligations, if you or anyone in our tour group, would like to buy; they can purchase.
Also end of the tour, our guide asks you to buy any carpet or kilims before you are going back to hotel. That’s about it. Anyone who doesn’t want to go to shopping, our minibus will take customers to their hotel. So we will not spend your time in the tour day at any carpet leather or jewellery stores.
4- Is your travel services insured by insurance company?
We are using governmental insurance services. This provides money back guarantee in case if the agencies bankrupted or natural disasters etc. Also, it covers health and injury problems during your travel until 30,000 euros.
5- When this insurance starts?
This insurance starts at the first day of your trip that you have booked with us, until end of your trip. This insurance is valid, if you have more than one travel services and more than 24 hours.
6- Is this insurance service including in the price?
Yes, Travel insurance and taxes are included in the price.
7- What kind of hotels do you provide?
We are mostly using cave hotels from the low budget up to most luxurious one. Since we work them frequently we are able to get better price from these places.
8- Is there airport in Cappadocia?
There are two airports near Cappadocia. One is called Nevsehir airport which is 60 kilometers away. The other one called Kayseri airport it is 85 kilometers away.

I know what are include in these tours. But what services are not included?
During the tour, in the restaurants lunch is included as a meal. But the drinks are extra. But these drinks are quite reasonable prices for restaurants. Also, your personal expenses during the tours are not included.
10- What is the climate like in Cappadocia. What should I wear?
The Cappadocia has terrestrial climate. So the summers are hot and dry. Winters are cold and rainy. In spring, autumn and winter you have to wear thick clothes. Also in the summer nights you should carry jacket and similar clothes. Also since we have walking tours in valleys, therefore we suggest you to have sport shoes for your convenience.
11- What are the standards of your tours?
Our minibuses are young-age and in good conditions. They all have central heating systems and A/C. Which we have license from the ministry of tourism that matches all the standards. The restaurants that we are using are good quality of places that they have very good reputations in Cappadocia.
Our guides speaking their foreign languages fluently and they are all certified from the ministry of tourism which means they have studied well the history and the culture of the areas.
12- If I have any problems during my trip that I have booked with you, what should I do?
We will give you our office and mobile phone numbers of our offices and our local office which are on 24 hours a day. In case if you need to contact any of us; with help of the hotel reception, guide, drivers etc, you can always call us.
13- What are the overnight buses like?
We use regular overnight buses. It takes 11 hours from Istanbul. We use quite good bus companies. With air-conditioned, centrally heated. Since there is no toilets in these buses, because we Turks, we hate toilets in the buses, therefore the bus stops like every 3-4 hours. At least 3 times. 2 of the stops are for 15 minutes and one of the stop is for half an hour. Where they stop is, Where they stop, toilets, cafeterias and restaurants.
Also the seats in the buses looks like seats in planes. You can incline the seats back and you can sleep as much as you can after midnight. The staff in these buses, they will do their bests to make your trip as convenience as possible.
14- If I book these tours from Internet, what is the procedure like?
After we agree with you about the itinerary and the price, we will send you a “reservation submission form” with mail. You will open the document, print it out, fill it in with pen and send it to us via fax. As soon as we receive it from you, we will send you the confirmation documents.
15- Who are you?
The name of our travel agency is called Acetes Travel. Our main office is in Sultanahmet area which is in historical area of Istanbul. We have two branch offices. One is in Crown Plaza Old City Hotel in Istanbul. The other one is in Urgup area of Cappadocia.
